Alright, so I'm going to go off the topic of nightclubs this week and "what happens around Las Vegas" to be yet another voice that urges you to vote in the upcoming presidential election.
Now I'm not going to sit here and preach one way or the other and voice my personal political views, but let's face it - our current economic situation is the worst it's ever been and something needs to be done. With Las Vegas being a city revolving around entertainment and tourism, it's extremely important that we step up and be a strong voice in the upcoming presidential race.
To increase awareness and talk about the country's current financial state The Light Group held a special meeting for all 1,100+ employees last week to discuss the importance of voting. Equal representation for both parties was present for the meeting, and employees were given a chance to register to vote on-site and discuss issue and positions with member from both parties.
Whether you're Republican or Democratic, liberal or conservative, we need to come together and make our voices heard to make sure that the next four years don't mirror what the last eight have done to our nation.
