So I've come to the conclusion that the best way to feel like you accomplished something when you really didn't, is to play Guitar Hero. If you haven't played it yet, or have been living in some backwoods mountain cave and never heard of it, Guitar Hero is the greatest game ever! Because I have neither musical ability nor any real talent, this game provides me an arena to live out my rockstar dreams in my living room for a group of friends that laugh at the fact that I truly feel as though I am able to play guitar when I pick up my plastic sticker covered controller. Well what's even cooler is that now every Monday night at Mist Bar & Lounge located in TI (shameless plug) you can actually go play GH2 for a real crowd, kinda like karaoke jacked up on steroids. And wouldn't you agree that nothing says "best night ever" quite like the public humiliation of your intoxicated friends as they flail uncontrollably on stage in front of random strangers? Exactly - there isn't. Till next time!
