Four-time GRAMMY winner Lil Wayne has five nominations: Best Rap Performance for “Look At Me Now” (with Chris Brown and Busta Rhymes); two nods in the Best Rap/Sung Collaboration category for “I’m On One” (with DJ Khaled, Drake and Rick Ross) and “Motivation” (with Kelly Rowland); Best Rap Song for “Look At Me Now”; and Best Rap Album for Tha Carter IV.

Deadmau5 has three nominations: Best Dance Recording for “Raise Your Weapon” (with Greta Svabo Bech), Best Dance/Electronica Album for 4X4=12, and Best Remixed Recording, Non-Classical for “Rope” (Deadmau5 Mix).

Two-time GRAMMY winner Guetta is up for two awards: Best Dance Recording for “Sunshine” (with Avicii) and Best Dance/Electronica Album for Nothing But The Beat.

The segment will take place across from Staples Center at the Nokia Plaza @ L.A. Live in a special outdoor tent to be constructed by renowned hospitality company the Light. The 54th Annual GRAMMY Awards will take place live on Sunday, Feb. 12 at Staples Center in Los Angeles and will be broadcast worldwide on the CBS Television Network, and live online on Grammy.com from 8–11:30 p.m. (ET/PT).

As Katy enjoyed a few cocktails and hung out with friends at her VIP table, keeping a low profile, DJ Mia Moretti and violinist Caitlin Moe took over the DJ booth for a one-of-a kind performance! The duo was followed by a special live performance by Jordanian-American pop singer Ferras. The night was a memorable one for all and it benefited the GiveLove charity, which develops temporary housing solutions and improved sanitation systems in Haiti.

Additional celebrity attendees included Mickey Rourke, Alex Rodriguez, Selita Ebanks, Jessica Stam, Kevin Connolly, Evan Ross and Sammy Sosa. Both Ebanks and Stam donned Versace while enjoying their evening at South Beach’s most iconic hotel.

BIANCA, a new signature restaurant at the iconic Delano, helmed by Executive Chef Brian Massie, is an Italian-inspired restaurant offering an inventive Italian menu featuring local, organic ingredients. BIANCA’s simple, yet savory cuisine includes signature dishes, such as simply-grilled Langoustines and handmade pasta along with seasonal truffles, shaved tableside. With four distinct areas to dine and drink, including the main dining room, lounge, veranda and lobby, BIANCA offers a variety of settings to satisfy every occasion.

A long-time patron of STACK myself, I realized I had gotten increasingly comfortable with the already fantastic menu…a visit for dinner meant I’d be ordering from memory, a creature of habit I guess. With the menu overhaul, I forced myself to take in-hand a physical menu when offered to me, and was delighted to find a number of interesting new offerings top to bottom. Appetizers are served family style, small plates meant to be shared for the table, perfectly sized bites of all different types. Many of STACK’s staple dishes have garnered almost celebrity status in the Vegas food world, it seems almost sacrilegious to not order the hot rock, adult-tater tots or buffalo style wings during a visit. Now, yellowtail crunch, pan-seared dumplings and lobster tacos spruce up the small plates fare…all incredibly tasty. My personal favorite of the new signature small plates was the mini lamb gyros, heaping with wood-grilled lamb and paired with a tangy yogurt sauceI almost had to order a second helping.

The highlight of the night for me was the new roasted tomato soup, a self-proclaimed soup connoisseur, I have to admit it is easily one of the best I have ever had. Served with a delicious grilled cheese sandwich on the side, perfect for dipping in the rich soup, this dish could easily be a light meal all by itself.

The Colorado Rack of Lamb was the definite standout amongst the new entrees, it arrived perfectly cooked on a bed of confitfingerling potatoes with a simply amazingred wine jus and heirloom onions. STACK’s classic steak selections remain on the menu, with a few new friends. Added to the beef selections are a bone-in 24oz. Tomahawk Ribeye and The Ultimate Surf & Turf. The latter a monstrous 40oz porterhouse paired with a 2lb stuffed lobster, complete with your choice of two signature sides and two signature sauces. The Ultimate Surf & Turf is more than enough grub for a group of four to share if you went all-out on the signature small plates, soups and salads. Sides at STACK are handled much in the same way appetizers are, meant to be shared, each side can easily accommodate two diners… pick a selection for the table, there will be plenty to go around. The new XL Twice baked potato tasted as amazing as it looked, and the ridiculously tastytruffle hollandaise sauce that accompanied the steamed asparagus could easily be slathered on just about anything.

If you’re a long-time fan of STACK, it’s definitely time to make a return visit to sample the new fare. Your favorite dishes will still be there, fear not, and the newcomers on the menu definitely step up to the plate in a big way. You’ll find yourself wanting to order one of everything, which is fully acceptable, but remember to save some room for a round of dancing at 1Oak Nightclub afterwards.

“Glee” star, Naya Rivera celebrated her birthday at Las Vegas’ newest hot spot, 1 OAK at The Mirage, on Saturday night. Arriving just after midnight, Naya and several friends, including her “Glee” co-star Dianna Agron, and family members, including her mom, Yolanda Rivera, and her brother, Mychal Rivera, partied at her VIP table just behind the DJ booth. Naya and her crew sipped rosé champagne and danced the night away to an exclusive DJ set by Fernando Garibay, most notably known for being the musical director for Lady Gaga’s album “Born This Way.” Naya began her evening with dinner at celebrity hot spot Stack Restaurant & Bar at The Mirage before heading over to 1 OAK where she was presented with a large pink birthday cake in the shape of a slushy!

Back in the States, following a recent trip to Haiti for the two year anniversary of the devastating earthquake, Wyclef Jean partied and performed live at Sin City hot spot, The Bank at Bellagio, taking shots of tequila and mingling with friends and fans before performing a special live set of his hits, including “No Woman No Cry,” “Gone Till November,” “Killing Me Softly” and “Ready Or Not,” among others. Wyclef hung out all night at The Bank, before he had to head to the airport for an early morning flight.

Friday night followed an incredible Thursday night party at 1 OAK Las Vegas, presented by Beats By Dre, with Dutch DJ Laidback Luke behind the turntables. Laidback Luke performed an exclusive, high-energy three hour set for the packed club, including Dr. Dre and music mogul Jimmy Lovine.

Kicking off a weekend’s worth of style and beauty on Friday night, 30 of Wilhelmina Modeling Agency’s top models, including Gabriel Aubrey, Sara McNeilly and Anna Zanovello as well as Wilhelmina president, Sean Patterson and style expert Robert Verdi, got the party started at dinner and drinks at FIX, amidst the Bellagio’s casino floor. Following dinner, the crew headed over to The Bank and, upon arrival, were escorted to a VIP table. Enjoying cocktails and champagne, the Wilhelmina models spent their night dancing, mingling and taking pics, documenting their 48 hours in Sin City.

The two-part Wilhelmina model weekend takeover at The Bank, featuring 30 of Wilhelmina Modeling Agency’s top models, including Gabriel Aubrey, Sara McNeilly and Anna Zanovello as well as Wilhelmina president, Sean Patterson, culminated on Saturday. Beginning with a light-hearted lunch at Diablo’s Cantina at Monte Carlo, the models were then treated to a leisurely afternoon and hair and make-up, VIP-style, in their hotel suites courtesy of Michael Boychuck Salon before they headed out for another night on the town in Sin City. The party, once again, started at dinner, this time at Bellagio’s premiere Japanese eatery, Yellowtail, where the models indulged in an exclusive selection of executive chef Akira Back’s most popular dishes as well as several of Yellowtail’s delicious specialty cocktails. Around midnight, following dinner, the Wilhelmina crew headed to The Bank for another spectacular evening of dancing and partying with The Bank’s exclusive set of Saturday night partygoers and resident DJ Karma behind the turntables. Hanging out with the crew was birthday-girl and Grammy Award winning songstress, Estelle and style expert Robert Verdi. The Bank surprised the singing sensation when they presented Estelle with a specialty two-tiered Jean Philippe birthday cake. The dazzling beauties and hunky hotties partied at The Bank until around 3 a.m. taking pictures with fans and dancing their last night in Las Vegas away.

Just down The Strip at HAZE Nightclub at ARIA on Saturday night, back by popular demand, Mix-Master Mike on the turntables joined by Travis Barker on the drums performed an unforgettable, high-energy set on Saturday night. The at-capacity crowd at HAZE were treated to a 30 minute performance by the duo before they headed back to their VIP tables. Travis was joined by his ex-wife and longtime girlfriend Shanna Moakler and several of their friends, partying in the wee hours of Sunday morning.

On Saturday night, Kanye West joined party host Fergie to celebrate the premiere of the highly anticipated 1 OAK Las Vegas at The Mirage on New Year’s Eve. After much speculation surrounding his twitter campaign to DJ on New Year’s Eve, Kanye took the stage and thrilled party-goers with a 3 hour set. Dubbing himself YEEZYWORLDPEACE, He mixed tracks for Fergie, her hubby Josh Duhamel and some of the biggest names in Hollywood to usher in a new era of the 1 OAK brand with 1 OAK co-founders Richie Akiva and Scott Sartiano. The exciting New Year’s Eve party and weekend celebration marked a pre-cursor to 1 OAK’s grand opening weekend slated for January 27, 2012.

While guests, including Joseph Gordon Levitt, David Katzenberg, Kid Cudi, Topher Grace, Big Sean, Jason Ritter and bandmates from Foster The People including Mark Foster, Mark Pontius & Cubbie Fink, danced the night away to the sounds of Kanye West and 1 OAK resident DJ Jesse Marco, a surprise came from the host herself as Fergie took to the microphone after the New Year’s BANG, while confetti guns shot white snowflakes into the air filling the 1,600 person venue and thrilling partygoers. Fergie even serenaded her husband with 80’s songs. Following the performance, Fergie sliced a piece of her New Year’s cake for herself and Josh as YEEZYWORLDPEACE played through the night for the entertainment industry’s finest.

BRUNO MARS CELEBRATES AT THE BANK NIGHTCLUB AT BELLAGIO

Bruno Mars’ New Year’s Eve performance at Sin City hot spot The Bank Nightclub at Bellagio was unlike anything he has ever done before. Performing a 45-minute show, with a 9-piece band, Mars’ set included new and old chart-topping covers. Partygoers went wild in excitement, when Mars opened his set with Kanye West’s “Dark Fantasy” followed by songs like, Led Zepplin’s “Whole Lotta Love,” and Michael Jackson’s “Dirty Diana,” among so many others, and concluded his set with his own, “Just The Way You Are” (complete set list below). The performance began just seconds after Mars led the crowd in a countdown to 2012. Following dinner at Yellowtail Japanese Restaurant & Lounge, Mars and his entourage of friends arrived at The Bank around 11 p.m. and were greeted with a celebratory multi-tiered Jean Phillippe cake featuring a Grammy award on the top to congratulate the superstar singer on the recent announcement of his 6 Grammy nominations.

LMFAO CELEBRATES AT HAZE AT ARIA

Over at HAZE Nightclub at ARIA, LMFAO arrived around 10:45 p.m. to the Las Vegas mega-club. Greeted by fans ready to “Party Rock” into 2012, RedFoo hit the stage and set the high-energy mood for New Year’s Eve party-goers. After nearly an hour of performing LMFAO’s club-banger hits like “Champagne Showers,” “Sexy and I Know It” and “Party Rock Anthem” RedFoo then lead the crowd in a countdown to the New Year. RedFoo spent the rest of the evening dancing and partying with an entourage of girls at his VIP table and toasting 2012 with several bottles of champagne and indulging in a multi-tiered celebratory cake.

AKON AT THE BANK’S FIRST INDUSTRY NIGHT OF 2012

Platinum selling recording artist, Akon, performed live last night at The Bank Nightclub at Bellagio for an excited crowd of Sunday night “Industry Night” partygoers, belting out tracks like “Smack That” and his collaboration hit with David Guetta “Sexy Bitch.” It was a packed house at The Bank’s industry party, filled with guests still celebrating the New Year, including members of the band Foster The People and actor Emile Hirsch as well as singing sensation Bruno Mars who had performed an extraordinary set of cover songs with a 9-piece band, the night before at The Bank, on New Year’s Eve.
